Professional Karate Institute Mixed Martial Arts

Ju Ki Do, a fighting style developed by the Professional Karate Institute and taught nowhere else, anchors this Castroville academy. The family-run PKIMMA organization operates four locations across Boerne, Castroville, San Antonio and Helotes, with the Castroville dojo led by Kyoshi Ivan Ujueta, whose traditional teaching style treats fitness, self-defense and character development as equal pillars. Karate classes welcome kids and adults, and Monday-through-Thursday scheduling from mid-morning to evening works for both school-age and working students. Each location functions less like a franchise outlet and more like a neighborhood dojo. Visit the campus at 408 Old US Hwy 90 E in Castroville, or call (210) 378-9055 to ask about beginner classes.
