progressive scientific fighting arts

Science is the organizing idea at Progressive Scientific Fighting Arts, a Weslaco school established in 2017 that filters self-defense through a systematic, technique-first lens. The curriculum is unusually broad for the Rio Grande Valley: Brazilian jiu-jitsu, jeet kune do, kickboxing, muay thai, and MMA all appear on the schedule, taught across early-morning boot camps that start around 5 AM and evening blocks stretching to 8:30. Students give it a 4.8 rating across 21 Google reviews, and family discounts plus free parking make it practical for working households. Saturday morning classes close out the week. See the full timetable at 400 W 6th St, Weslaco, or call 956-551-0691.
