Reyes Jiu-Jitsu

Professor Jose Reyes leads the mats at Reyes Jiu-Jitsu, an independent Irving academy on North MacArthur Boulevard where the head coach’s personal grappling philosophy defines the room. The schedule skews late — sessions often run past 10PM on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays — plus Saturday and Sunday afternoon classes, a layout built around working students who can’t make typical dinner-time mats. Members rate the academy 4.8 stars across 10 Google reviews. As an independent school rather than a franchise affiliate, it tends to attract grapplers who want direct access to the professor instead of a rotating instructor bench. Knot your belt at 5443 N MacArthur Blvd in Irving, or call (972) 746-3308 for mat times.
