Silverback Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

Silverback Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu planted its flag on Washington Avenue in Livingston well before the Silverback name spread — coach bios trace a sister academy in Huntsville back to a member who trained at this Polk County original before branching out in 2020. The gym is veteran-owned and holds a 4.8 rating across 17 Google reviews, with classes running every weekday evening from 4:30 to 8 PM. That schedule supports both the after-school crowd and adults finishing their workdays, and the academy’s identity as a small-town East Texas BJJ outpost shows in its tight-knit, no-ego training culture. Weekends stay closed for recovery. Try a first class by calling 936-208-3934.
