Texas Style Training Center

Since opening its doors in 2023, Texas Style Training Center has grown into one of Corpus Christi’s better-reviewed academies, holding a 4.9 rating across 12 Google reviews on Ambassador Row. The coaching bench even includes Del Mar College students who help lead classes — local reporting profiled one such student coach in 2024 — and the curriculum spans Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, kickboxing, and wrestling for kids and adults. Weeknight classes run 5:30 to 8:30 PM, Friday wraps an hour earlier, and Saturday mornings feature a 10 AM to 12:30 PM block. That grappling-and-striking mix under one roof remains rare in the Coastal Bend. New students can get started at 361-488-3322.
