Tiger Rock Martial Arts of Hamshire

Tiger-Rock’s blend of modern training methods and cherished martial arts tradition reaches small-town Hamshire through this academy on Hamshire Road. Classes gather three evenings a week — Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 5 to 7pm — a compact schedule built for rural families across the Beaumont-Port Arthur corridor who want structured, taekwondo-based training close to home. The Tiger-Rock curriculum stresses confidence, discipline and strength for kids and adults, mirroring the framework the organization’s Mid-County academy in nearby Nederland has delivered for over two decades. It’s a rare martial arts option this far from the big cities. Enrollment questions go to 409-724-6668 or trmamidcounty.com.
