Tora Karate

Fifteen-plus years of continuous teaching have made Tora Karate a fixture in Laredo’s north-side neighborhood network, where Nextdoor reviewers describe a long-established academy built on discipline and personal attention rather than fitness fads. The class structure is deliberately compact: evening sessions Monday through Thursday, roughly 6:20 to 8:35, keep groups small enough that instructors can correct detail on every student rather than lecturing a crowd. The curriculum covers traditional karate for children and adults, with belt progression and practical self-defense applications woven into each week’s plan, and Friday through Sunday stay closed for family time. The dojo sits at 311 Potranca Ct in the 78045 zip. Prospective students can confirm the current schedule by calling 956-740-3194 before visiting.
