Traditional Karate Center

Okinawan Goju-Ryu karate has been taught at this school since 1990 — the Traditional Karate Center first opened in the Houston area in 1987, giving it decades-deep roots in Fort Bend County. Instruction stays deliberately traditional, covering men, women and children with a curriculum that pairs striking technique with life-skills development for younger students and a dedicated adult program. The center draws families from Sugar Land, Richmond and Missouri City and carries a 4.9 rating across 49 Google reviews. Evening classes dominate the weekday schedule, with a Saturday morning session capping the week. Stop by 4565 Hwy 6, call (281) 265-3035, or browse programs at sugarlandkarate.net.
