Triple 7 Escrima

One Wednesday evening class per week is the entire offer at Triple 7 Escrima, and regulars would not have it any other way. The San Antonio school teaches Filipino escrima under Maestro Buenaflor, whose students describe classes as challenging yet paced so newcomers stay comfortable advancing through the stick and blade curriculum. There is no signup maze either: the academy’s FAQ tells prospective students to simply show up early, fill out paperwork, and jump in, or watch a session first. That single 7:30 to 9 PM Wednesday slot keeps the Freedom Drive group tight-knit. Find it at triple7escrima.com or 210-367-1877.
