Kombatives, spelled with a K, signals the focus at VictorySong Kombatives on West Arkansas Lane in Arlington: close-quarters combatives built on jujitsu groundwork rather than sport-only rule sets. The entity behind it, VictorySong Kombatives LLC, is registered in Arlington — a verifiable corporate footprint — though its public schedule and social presence remain thin, pointing to a small coach-led operation in the independent self-defense mold. That intimacy is exactly what some adult students want: practical grappling and standing control without gym-chain formality, crowded mats, or long-term contracts.
