Action Self Defense

Women-owned and unapologetically welcoming, Action Self Defense has spent more than two decades teaching practical self-defense to women, teens, moms and daughters, and anyone who wants real-world safety skills — no experience necessary. Beyond its signature women’s courses, the Plano school runs group classes, private lessons, university safety programs, corporate training, and even self-defense parties, and it identifies as LGBTQ-friendly and transgender-safe. That track record shows in a flawless 5.0-star rating across 52 Google reviews. Doors stay open seven days a week, 11 AM to 9 PM, one of the most accessible schedules in North Texas. Reach the school at theactionselfdefense.com or 682-500-1501 to arrange training for yourself or a group.
