AMICI KARATE & GYMNASTICS

Karate and gymnastics under one roof is a rare pairing, and AMICI KARATE & GYMNASTICS works it hard on Laredo’s Prada Machin Drive, splitting sessions between strikes, kata, tumbling, and floor work in afternoon-to-evening classes that run past nine on weekdays. The school teaches traditional karate with a self-defense emphasis, and its competitive roots run deep: AMICI hosts the annual Amici Open, a stop on the AOK Texas tournament circuit directed by Sandy Zuazua. That tournament pedigree shapes daily training for kids chasing medals and families seeking focus and fitness alike. Current Google feedback stands at 4.3 stars across six ratings.
