Capoeira Evolução

Music, acrobatics, and live sparring share the roda at Capoeira Evolução, South Austin’s home for the Brazilian art of capoeira. Weekly classes welcome children and adults of all levels and include a music component — students learn the songs and instruments that drive the game — with a roda held directly after class so beginners can watch or join. Beyond capoeira, the school’s Brazilian Beats dance program teaches samba, samba reggae, and baile funk as a joyful, sweaty workout. Training runs weeknights from 6 to 9 PM plus Saturday mornings, and the school is rated 4.8 across 21 Google reviews. Drop by 4615 South Congress Avenue or call 512-715-4373 to try something new.
