Future Champs of Texas

Inner-city youth in Dallas have had a wrestling and boxing home since 2016, when founder Rick Henry launched Future Champs of Texas to change the game for the city’s young athletes. Year-round training serves wrestlers ages 8 to 18, adult classes run on demand, and weekday evening sessions keep the program accessible after school. The mission reaches beyond athletics, using combat sports as a vehicle for discipline, confidence, and opportunity for inner-city kids, and membership pricing stays low enough that cost does not bar a child from participating.
