Kang's Taekwondo

‘Self Defense… Self Respect…’ reads the motto at Kang’s Taekwondo Academy, which runs two Rio Grande Valley campuses – the original Price Road school in Brownsville and a second in nearby San Benito. Weekday classes begin at 4:20PM and roll through 9PM in level-based evening blocks, so each age and rank group gets its own hour on the mat. The Brownsville location holds a 5.0 rating across 22 Google reviews, with cards accepted for tuition. For families splitting their week between both cities, the dual-campus setup is a genuine convenience. Reach the Brownsville school at 956-547-9776 or kangstaekwondo.com. Students progress through belt levels inside those blocks rather than in mixed-crowd sessions, so beginners get true beginner hours.
