Lonestar Karate Academy

Traditional Korean Tang Soo Do is the backbone of the curriculum at Lonestar Karate Academy, a Humble dojo where families train together on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings. The deliberately compact after-school schedule reflects a small-school approach: students consistently describe the instructors as personable and genuinely caring, and the academy carries a perfect 5.0-star rating across 16 Google reviews. Kids and adults learn forms, self-defense, and discipline in the traditional Korean style rather than a sport-only system, with classes running from roughly 5:30 to 8:30 PM on training nights. The gym operates from 411 S Houston Avenue in Humble. Call (832) 429-5085 or check the academy’s Facebook page for enrollment details.
