Matthews Martial Arts

Husband-and-wife owners Dustin and Miranda Matthews have made their East 8th Street school a fixture of the Odessa martial arts scene, teaching karate, kickboxing, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, Kempo, and MMA under one roof. The family operation clearly resonates: Matthews Martial Arts carries a flawless 5.0 rating across an eye-popping 363 Google reviews, a count most big-city academies would envy. Classes meet Monday through Thursday from late afternoon into the evening, with an extended Wednesday session, and students range from young kids through teens and adults at every skill level. Character development gets equal billing with physical skill in the youth programs. Stop by 818 E 8th St in Odessa, or call 432-214-6525 for current class times.
