Okinawa Karate Club of Dallas

Okinawa Karate Club of Dallas

No contracts, no testing fees and low monthly dues distinguish the Okinawa Karate Club of Dallas, a traditional dojo founded in 1984 and counted among North Texas’s oldest. The club teaches Shobayashi Shorin Ryu as passed down by the late Eizo Shimabukuro and Shudokan karate from the lineage of Walter Todd, with many senior instructors ranked directly under those masters; kobudo weapons enter at advanced levels, and Arnis and Toei Jujutsu round out the curriculum. Youth classes start at age seven, adult classes at sixteen. Rated 4.4 across 7 Google reviews, the club trains weeknight evenings and Saturday mornings at 3720 Walnut Hill Ln in Dallas. Email or call (972) 406-2836 to observe a class.
