Taekwondo One
Since 1979, Taekwondo One has anchored the Lubbock martial arts scene, making it one of the Hub City’s longest-running schools, with directory records tracing its founding to Master Oak. Programs cover Taekwondo for kids and adults, self-defense, and karate, serving everyone from young white belts to students who have trained for decades. The school even lent its space to Texas Tech’s Taekwondo club for weekday evening sessions, a mark of its standing in the local martial arts community. Today it operates from Marsha Sharp Freeway on the city’s west side, keeping classical Korean instruction available to new generations of Lubbock families. Call 806-445-2119 for current class times.
