West Texas Karate

Noon classes every Tuesday and Thursday give Lubbock homeschool students a PE period with a purpose at West Texas Karate. The school runs on an openly family-first model and describes multiple families and friends training together, under Master Chad Hinkle as part of the Global Tang Soo Do Association. Weekday hours stretch from midday to 8PM, and Saturday mornings add another window for busy weeks. Google reviewers give it a 4.8 rating across 32 reviews, with the warm, inclusive culture a recurring theme. Rather than treating karate as a kids-only activity, the school puts parents and children on the mat together. Visit westtexaskarate.com or call 806-370-0889 to try a class.
