A mother-daughter team runs TBG Martial Arts: Lillian and Rebecca Owings founded the school after a fifteen-year (and counting) training journey together, and their personality shows everywhere — the tagline is Taekwondo, Texas-style! Classes specialize in taekwondo and self-defense, and the schedule now includes sessions designed specifically for students with autism and/or ADHD, an uncommon offering in the Plano market. TBG is women-owned, LGBTQ-friendly, and openly welcoming to transgender students. Training runs Tuesday through Thursday evenings plus Saturday mornings.
