World Kuk Sool Won

Few combat-sports addresses carry this kind of weight: Tomball is home to the World Kuk Sool Won organization, the governing body of a Korean martial art founded in 1958 by Grandmaster Suh In-hyuk and practiced across the United States, the United Kingdom, and beyond. The headquarters oversees certified schools worldwide and upholds a curriculum that systematically integrates striking, throwing, joint locking, and grappling, traditional Korean weapons, body conditioning, and breathing and meditation practice — an entire martial heritage organized as one system rather than a single specialty. School owners travel here for continuing education, and local students train in the art steps from its source on FM 2920. Reach the Tomball headquarters through kuksoolwon.com or by calling (281) 255-2550.
