Academy For the Martial Arts

Four-year-olds can earn their first belts at Academy For the Martial Arts, a Schertz school that introduces Taekwondo to children as young as preschool age and carries students up through adult classes. The staff describes itself as patient instructors who enjoy working with children and adults alike, and the teaching leans hard on discipline as a life skill rather than just a sport. A 4.9 rating across 27 Google reviews backs the approach. Class times run after school into the evening on weekdays, with a Saturday morning session for families juggling packed weekdays. You’ll find the academy at 17319 I-35 N, Suite 301, in Schertz; enrollment questions go to 210-657-2467 or academyforthemartialarts.com.
