Olympic Taekwondo Academy

Olympic-style sparring drives the curriculum at Olympic Taekwondo Academy in Brownsville — the fast-kicking, electronic-scoring format of the sport as it is contested at the Olympic Games, taught at the school’s FM 802 location on the city’s north side. The academy keeps both an active Facebook page and its own web home at olympictaekwondoacademy.com, and holds a 4.5-star Google rating across ten reviews. That competition orientation matters for families deciding between tournament-track training and fitness-only classes: here the pipeline points toward the mats, not just the mirror. Students progress through sparring fundamentals, footwork and conditioning with competition as the measuring stick. Call 956-266-2026 about beginner intake and gear requirements.
